Scholarship Awards 2018
In keeping with our dedication to the ongoing education of Dublin High School students, the PFSO will award up to ten graduating DHS seniors with a scholarship. The awards will be based on involvement in extracurricular activities, service to school and community, and an application that includes a creative essay. The awards will be $500 each.
A letter of recommendation is also required. The letter should clearly indicate the name and occupation of the individual who wrote the letter of recommendation, as well as the nature of their relationship to the applicant.
Submit your application, essay, and letter of recommendation to Dublin High School Scholarship Committee, Attention: Heather Whiting. Deliver your application packet to the DHS Counseling Office Secretary's desk. Application must be received no later than Friday, April 13th. Receipt of your application will be confirmed. Late applications will not be considered. The PFSO Scholarship Committee will review the applications and select the winners. Grade point averages will weigh only in the event of a tie.
Recipients will be notified and their scholarships awarded at the Senior Awards Night on Wednesday, May 2nd. Checks will be made payable to the student or to the college of their choice.
